Yearly Schedule

The calendar year is 33 weeks in length not including studio vacation breaks with a Bonus Week at the end of May. The first day of classes starts 9/5/19. The last day of classes is 5/30/20. No classes on October 31st, November 20th-23rd, December 23rd-January 5th 2020, and February 17th 2020. 


Snow Days & Make-Up Classes

Students have the option to make-up classes missed due to snow days or illness. There is a one-month timeframe to make up the missed class.  Students may choose their own make-up class, as long as the class is the same level or is approved by the instructor. If there are more than two snow days for a designated class, we will schedule a Make-Up class. Refunds will not be issued for classes missed due to illness, holidays, or snow days.


Pricing Information (See 2019-2020 Tuition & Fees)
There is a $35.00 non-refundable registration fee for each student. There is a $30.00 fee for any returned check. Tuition can be paid in monthly payments or in full for the year, and does not include vacation weeks. ALL families are required to have a credit on file in their account. If you wish to bring in a CASH or CHECK payment, payments must be received by the 25th of the month. If cash or check payments are not received by the 25th of the month the credit card in your account will be charged. If there is an issue with the credit card on file, the account will be charged a $15 late fee. If the family account is behind in payment, dancer will not be permitted to attend class. If paying in full for the year, the Annual plan will only be available until September 11, 2019 and must be paid by CASH or CHECK ONLY. After September 11, 2019 ONLY the Monthly Plan will be available as a payment plan.  Multiple class discounts off total tuition (Per Student) will be as follows: 2 Classes: 5% Off, 3 Classes 8% Off, 4 Classes: 10% Off, 5+ Classes: 15% Off. See Tuition for pricing.  Please mark these dates on your calendar, as invoices will not be sent out. 



Regular attendance in class is necessary to learn and grow as a dancer and performer. Please make every effort to come to class to get the most out of your learning experience.  If missing class is unavoidable due to illness, school or family function, etc. please notify us via email or phone that you will not be at class that day.


Refund Policy

NO Refunds will be given. Only Class credit may be given. New students may arrange a trial class. Please arrange your trial class by clicking on the Trial Class button on the Home Page or by calling or emailing the studio. 


Annual Spring Performance

Studio A Dance & Performing Arts, LLC showcases dancers in a year-end performance that will be held in May.  Participation is not mandatory but is encouraged.  Dancers love to show what they have accomplished throughout the year. There will be mandatory rehearsals held during the week preceding the performance, at the studio and/or at the theater in which the performance will take place.  Dates and locations of the performance will be announced in classes and information will be posted on the website as well.  Please be advised that costumes must be purchased to participate and additional accessories may have to be purchased such as tights, undergarments, hair ties, etc.  If participating in the Spring Performance, there is a costume fee of $85 per costume due November 1, 2019. Triple Threat and Jazz/Hip-Hop Classes will perform two dance pieces in the show for a total of $170. All other classes will perform one piece in the show. Those dancers taking multiple classes will owe $85 per class. For example: Suzie takes Ballet A, Modern/Contemporary A, and Tap A = $85 X 3 = $255. If costume payment is not received by November 1, 2018, costumes will not be ordered for you and/or your child. Please notify the studio by email by November 1, 2019 if your child will not be performing so that we will not expect a Costume Payment. Costume payment for those students who join class(es) after costumes have been ordered will be $105 per costume. Tickets for performances will be available approximately three weeks in advance of the performance and will be available for purchase online. Tickets must be purchased for each show if more than one show. Tickets are not interchangeable between shows. 


Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Please drop off your child no earlier than 10 minutes before class and please be on time to pick up your child at the end of their class. Students must wait inside while waiting to be picked up. 


Rules and Regulations

Please be respectful of Studio A and its’ instructors as we want to provide an overall enjoyable experience for all students while inside the studio as well as at functions outside of the studio, i.e.: workshops or performances. In keeping this in mind, please turn your phone to silent or vibrate, and keep it with your personal belongings. No hanging on the ballet barres and please do not touch the mirrors with your hands.  Studio A reserves the right to remove a student from class without refund for displaying bad behavior or not coming prepared to class with the proper shoes and attire.

Live Video Feed TV will be available for viewing your child's class(es) each week from September through December, after which beginning in January, the TV will only be turned on the first full week of each month. 

Studio A promotes a positive educational learning environment to inspire students to become the best dancer and individual they can be! Bullying of any kind to any dancer will not be tolerated during class or outside of class. Negativity will also not be tolerated on studio grounds including the studio waiting room, studio dance room, or at any studio event held outside of the studio etc. 

Class Withdrawal

Dance is a progressive sport in which skills build upon one another and it is important to continue to practice the art form on a regular basis to see progress and therefore it is important to complete the entire 9 month dance season. If you must withdraw from a class due to medical reasons or other, please notify the studio in writing via email. There is a Required 30 day written notification from when tuition is due/charged on the 25th, which means that you are responsible for payment of your tuition for the following month, no exceptions. (For example, if you withdraw you or your child from a class or classes on November 1st, you will be responsible for the November 25th tuition payment.)


Student Class Placement

A student's placement in class is very important to their learning and growth.  Students learn at different rates and are placed according to ability, work ethic, and maturity level.  Placement is not purely based on age.  Please contact the studio before registering for class so that the appropriate level can be chosen that best suits the dancer.
