Discover with Me! (Child & Parent/Guardian Class) (18mo.-2.5yrs)

This is an Adult and Child participation class. Explore the joy of movement with your little one and discover the many benefits of early childhood dance classes. We will dance, sing, and play in both one-on-one activities and group activities. Through circle songs, open exploration, and gross motor development exercises, children will blossom with each passing class as they grow with their caregiver during this precious time together.
Discover Tots (2-2.5yrs)

Watch your child’s independence and confidence soar, as our DiscoverTOTS explore and discover the benefits of a more structured dance class. Following directions, waiting for our turn, and collectively problem solving will encourage emotional and social development. Live singing, musical play, and sensory props will have these little ones moving and grooving with their friends and eager to return to class each week!

Broadway Babies (3-3.5yrs)

This is a thirty minute introductory dance class jam packed with movement including ballet, tap and creative movement. Young dancers will learn the basic steps while learning how to follow directions in a warm and caring environment. Fun and engaging music is used to inspire these dancers. The use of props such as bears, wands, stepping dots, and hula hoops, enables the dancer to use their imagination, creativity and, most of all, have fun!
Blossoming Ballerinas (3-4.5yrs)

Ballet and Creative Movement styles will be taught with a fun theme incorporated into each 4-6 weeks of class, including Tea Party Picnic, Raindrops & Rainbows, Halloween Magic, Thankful Harvest, Super Sweet Adventure, Winter Wonderland, Pas de Deux: A Dance for Two, Jungle Safari, and Mermaid Adventure. Hop, skip, jump, twirl and imagine in this fun dance class!

Broadway Stars (4-4.5yrs)

  • Saturday, 9:40-10:20am
This class will include the styles of ballet, tap and creative movement.  Dancers will learn the basic basic steps and terminology in these styles. For example, all dancers will learn what a “plie, a tendu, and heel toe, toe heel walks" are and how to demonstrate them. Props such as hula hoops, stepping dots, bear, and wands may be used during class to develop spatial awareness and body awareness. The use of fun, age appropriate music will keep the dancer engaged and excited to come back each week!
